Copper Moon creates leather bags with a focus on proportion, material, and enduring design.

Each collection is developed in small batches and made from carefully selected leather, solid brass hardware, and durable natural materials. Rather than following seasonal trends, our designs are intended to remain relevant for years—becoming more personal as they are carried and worn.

The aesthetic is rooted in the American West, interpreted through a modern lens: understated, tactile, functional, and occasionally unexpected.

The Designer

Copper Moon was founded by Brandi Stewart, a New Mexico-based designer and leatherworker whose background spans architecture, costume design, and leather goods.

Her approach to design is informed by the belief that functional objects should also have presence. Every piece is considered through the balance of structure, proportion, material, and function.

Every Copper Moon design begins in the studio, where patterns are developed, materials selected, and prototypes refined by hand before becoming part of the collection.
